The BHS Impact Fund Grant Program allows Larimer County to invest directly in programs that serve the behavioral health needs of our community. 

ANNUAL GRANT FUNDING DISTRIBUTION 
  • 2019: $1 million distributed through 29 grant awards
  • 2020: $2.5 million distributed through 43 grant awards
  • 2021: $2.525 million distributed through 38 grant awards
     

FUNDING PRIORITIES

  • ACCESS & AFFORDABILITY: Increase access to affordable and appropriate behavioral health care
  • CARE COORDINATION & SYSTEM INTEGRATION: Increase care coordination and systems integration for behavioral health patients
  • EARLY IDENTIFICATION & INTERVENTION: Increase early identification and intervention in behavioral health problems
  • STIGMA REDUCTION & PUBLIC AWARENESS: Reduce stigma and increase public awareness of behavioral health issues
  • QUALITY CARE: Increase the quality of behavioral health care
  • PREVENTION: Prevent the onset of new behavioral health problems
     
ADVISORY GROUPS

BHS utilizes community-informed, decision-making to determine grant program targeted projects and areas of focus by relying on the guidance and input of its advisory groups. Work sessions are currently underway to determine 2021 targeted project initiatives.
