About the 2020 Grant Program
Funding for the Grant Program is the result of the 2018 0.25% sales and use tax ballot initiative which directs revenue to support behavioral health needs in Larimer County.
The total amount of funding generated for 2020 is $2.5 million. A portion of the funding ($115,545) was directed to the Crisis Response Fund which was created to meet immediate behavioral health needs related to the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, $50,000 will be directed to the Gary A. Darling Grant available to programs at the intersection of criminal justice and behavioral health.
Funding available through the 2020 Grant Program is approximately $2.3 million.
Funding Priorities
Input for the 2020 Funding Priorities comes from our expert community representatives on the Technical Advisory Committee and is designed to address critical gaps in community behavioral healthcare.
2020 Funding Priorities: COVID-19 Crisis Recovery & Outreach; Mental Illness & Substance Use Disorder Prevention and Programming; Screening, Early Identification & Intervention; Care Coordination & Responsivity.
