Agenda:

8:30am - Meet at River Ranch Farms
8:30am - 8:45am - Introductions and breakfast 
8:45am - 10am - Tour of property and current soil health practices
10am - Noon - Soil assessment stations and hands-on activities
Noon - 1:30pm - Catered lunch and roundtable discussion on everyone's soil health journey

Please make sure you:

  • Plan for variable weather
  • Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing
  • Bring a picnic blanket or camping chairs for lunch
  • Optional: bring a sample of soil from your farm/ ranch for the activities. 

Soil Health Demonstration Day is specifically designed for people who: 

  • Own or operate a working farm or ranch
  • Are a new/ beginner farmer or rancher
  • Ag professionals
