Imagine.....................
The snow capped Rocky Mountains in the background; the warmth of the Colorado sun is warming your face.
Listen carefully...................
Music playing softly in the background, the announcer making a call to the gate, in distance the roll of the freight wagons, the pounding of the heavy hooves belonging to the majestic beasts that are called the "gentle giants", jingle of the trace chains, the thunder is getting closer, it is getting louder....................
You are in Loveland, Colorado at "The Ranch" for the Big Thunder Draft Horse Show! What an exciting way to start 2008!!!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 5th Annual Draft Horse Show.
Once again Big Thunder is proud to be a North American Six Horse Hitch Classic Series Qualifying Show, part of the League of Champions Traveling Trophy. Along with the six horse hitches, we encourage single cart entries up to 4 horse hitches to participate.
The show will feature two groups, an "A" Group and a "B" Group, for the first two performances. Each group will run opposite of the other group, allowing the spectators to see a full range of classes. Sunday afternoon will feature some exciting classes as well, changing the show up a bit from the first two performances.
Both the Farm Team Race & The Farm Team Tandem Barrel Race will be on Sunday. Qualifying runs for the race will be held Sunday morning and the top finalists will return for the finals during the regular performance on Sunday afternoon.
Stall space is limited and we cannot exceed what the barns can safely and comfortably accommodate. Be sure to get your entries in early to assure a spot in the show.

Senior Night Jan. 18 at 5 pm - First National Bank Expo Hall. Includes: Dinner, ticket to the show for Friday night, and live entertainment by Michael and John Moon.
Price: $25 per person

Plus: for the first time ever in an arena- Big Horse Productions will be riding EIGHT horses roman style. This will be one you won't want to miss!
