How YOU Doin?

The Budweiser Events Center and the Ranch are basing their new customer service campaign off of a simple question; "How You Doin'?" This question will not only serve as a catch phrase that will be adopted campus-wide at the new Fairgrounds, but also as the new customer service philosophy.

"Our new customer service campaign is a simple, yet effective way to let our patrons know that we truly care about the experiences they have here at the Budweiser Events Center," said Rick Hontz, General Manager for the Budweiser Events Center. "The 'How You Doin' campaign will take our customer service to the next level and enhance our patrons overall experience."

Full-time employees from both the Budweiser Events Center and the Ranch met October 1, 2004 for a "How You Doin" kick-off party in the Champion Auto Group Executive Club restaurant. Budweiser Events Center General Manager Rick Hontz opened the kick-off party with a speech that encouraged full-time staff to share their most memorable customer service experience. The introductory speech was then followed by a "How You Doin" video that featured senior level Colorado Eagles executives as well as senior level Budweiser Events Center and Ranch employees, including special appearances by Global Spectrum's Western Region Vice President of Facility Management Dean Dennis, Olympic Gold Medalist Paul Hamm as well as Fairgrounds Director Jay Hardy.

The new customer service plan not only encourages all staff to engage in conversation with patrons, but also incorporates the entire "How You Doin?" philosophy into their daily lives. All staff has been asked to change their voice mail and email signatures to list the catch phrase as well as use it in all daily interactions with clients, patrons and visitors to the campus.

Comcast-Spectacor Ventures President Peter Luukko added, "Our new approach begins with a simple question, 'How You Doin',' but it's more than that. It's going above and beyond and treating our customers the way they want to be treated. It's all about giving our customers the ultimate sports and entertainment experience. It's also a way of measuring how The Ranch is performing as a complex."
