You can view your personal property detail list on-line. All you need is your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) and Schedule Number. The schedule number is printed on your personal property declaration schedule.

WHAT IS REQUIRED BY LAW? Owners of certain personal property must declare the taxable property they own to the assessor. The information is declared on a property declaration schedule.
WHO FILES A DECLARATION SCHEDULE? The owner of taxable personal property as of January 1st must file a declaration schedule if the total actual value (market value) of all the personal property to be listed on the schedule is greater than $2,500. All personal property, such as a business/organization's: equipment, security devises, machinery, furnishings and other personal effects, not other wise exempted by law, must be listed on the declaration schedule.
WHEN DO YOU FILE? The property declaration schedule must be received by the county assessor by the April 15th deadline EVERY YEAR.
WHY IS THE DECLARATION SCHEDULE FORM IMPORTANT? Assessors use this information to help calculate the property's value. This value is based on the property's use and condition as of January 1st of each year.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU SUBMIT THE DECLARATION SCHEDULE? First, the assessor may request more information or conduct a physical inventory of your personal property at your business location. Second, a Notice of Valuation will be mailed on June 15th to the address listed on the schedule.
PROTEST TIME. The protest must be in writing to be considered and must be postmarked by June 30th or you may hand deliver it by July 5th.
