Transfer Station
LocationThe Estes Park Transfer Station is located at 455 Elm Road in Estes Park. The transfer station is at the site of the old Estes Park Landfill, which was closed by Larimer County in 1984. The Town of Estes Park owns the site and Waste Management, Inc. operates it under contract with Larimer County.

Household hazardous wastes like pesticides, paint thinners and cleaners must be taken to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility at the Larimer County Landfill. Only paint is accepted at this transfer station.
Checks are not accepted at the transfer station. All waste, regardless of type, size or weight - even trash in plastic bags - must be completely enclosed with a cover and secured to your vehicle. This policy is strictly enforced. Uncovered loads are charged double fees. Waste from outside Larimer County is charged 2 1/2 times the in-county fees.
