Wellington and Red Feather Lakes Transfer Stations Changing Hours for Fall/Winter

Two waste transfer stations operated by the Larimer County Solid Waste Department are reducing their hours for the fall/winter season. As of September, the Wellington transfer station is no longer open Wednesdays. Current days and hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Wednesday hours will begin again after Memorial Day next year. The Wellington transfer station is located on County Road 70 (Owl Canyon Road).

The Red Feather Lakes transfer station will be open only the first Saturday of each month starting in November. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Next May, it will reopen again every Saturday. The transfer station is located on Red Feather Lakes Road.
