The hazardous waste collection is for all household hazardous wastes, including paint-related materials, aerosols, pesticides, flammables, unwanted cleaners and more. Participants should be sure that containers are labeled and not leaking. Different materials should not be mixed together. For residents who can’t make it to the roundup but have household chemicals to dispose of, a permanent collection site is located at the Larimer County Landfill, 5887 S. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins. Commercial hazardous wastes will not be accepted at the roundup. Businesses needing assistance with hazardous waste disposal should call the Solid Waste Department at 498-5760 for more information or see our BHAPE web page.
