ReSource Fort Collins Hosting Sneak Preview Event January 28-29
ReSource Fort Collins is holding a “sneak preview” event this weekend, January 28 and 29. Sale hours will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
ReSource is a non-profit sales yard for used building materials and architectural salvage. Started in Boulder 10 years ago, the Fort Collins expansion is the first for the ReSource program, which has helped preserve architectural gems such as doors, windows, cabinets and countertops. ReSource has also diverted millions of pounds of construction and demolition waste from landfills over the past decade.
Since acquiring space in Fort Collins late last year, ReSource has been actively collecting materials from the building community. “We thought it was time to have a ‘sneak preview’ to give people in the area a chance to shop for the items we’ve collected and to increase awareness that people can donate used building materials to ReSource, as well,” said Adam Bowen, manager of ReSource Fort Collins.
ReSource Fort Collins is located in space donated by Delta Construction in the Fort Collins airpark at 208 Racquette. A partial list of items is on the ReSource website or call (970) 498-9663 for more information.
