In our efforts to provide positive use of time for the inmates, we not only provide useful work options for inmates, but we also utilize some paid staff and almost 200 volunteers to provide educational, job skills, religious and other programs for the inmates in the facility. We recognize that if we don’t try to rehabilitate and provide positive opportunities for those incarcerated, they are much more likely to come back in to the community and re-offend.
