Visual Artist 2009 Artist - Diane Findley

I was thrilled to receive word from Larimer County that I was selected to be the 2009 Visual Artist of Larimer County. This is an honor that will open up a new world of landscape painting for me and I am ready.

My goal for this project is to produce a dozen landscape paintings on location throughout the Open Lands of Larimer County. From Red Mountain to Red-Tail Ridge, there will be a painting waiting for me around every corner. The entire body of work entitled "OPENLANDSCAPES" will be featured during a month long October showing at Cache Bank & Trust in downtown Fort Collins, in conjunction with the First Friday Gallery Walk.

I am appreciative of this opportunity to explore, experience and be inspired by the very essence of what makes Colorado so special.
