The Board of Larimer County Commissioners made several citizen Board appointments today and announced openings on the Workforce Investment Board (WIB). 
 
The WIB is the primary local planning and coordinating body for employment and training services, offered to the community through the Larimer County Workforce Center. More information on the WIB is on the Virtual Courthouse: http://www.larimer.org/boards/. Larimer County is accepting applications to the WIB by Thursday, January 15, 2010. Citizens can also apply online. Or contact Diane Tokarz, Commissioners’ Office, (970) 498-7015, dtokarz@larimer.org.
 
Today’s Appointments:
Community Corrections Advisory Board:  
  • Timothy Hand – Lakewood, Colorado
 
Estes Valley Public Library District:
  • Brian John Kamprath, and, Amy Hamrick  - Estes Park
 
Red Feather Lakes Planning Advisory Committee:
  • Eunice Michalka - Fort Collins
  • Barbara Bowman, and, Lucille Schmitt - Livermore
  • Ted Carter, Ben Myers, and, J. Michael Sledge - Red Feather Lakes
