Larimer County Household Hazardous Waste Facility Update

The Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHW) at the Larimer County Landfill is open to Larimer County residents on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

Household wastes should not be left at the facility when the facility is closed. Business waste is accepted on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by prior appointment by calling (970) 498-5771.
The HHW accepts many types of waste such as paint, cleaners, fluorescent lights as well as gasoline in covered containers. In addition, usable products can be obtained from the facility. This service is provided only to Larimer County residents without charge.
The Landfill is located at 5887 S. Taft Hill Road in Fort Collins. For more information about the landfill and related services, call the Larimer County Solid Waste Department’s 24-hour information line at 498-5770 or visit www.larimer.org/solidwaste.
