Larimer County Offices, Courts, District Attorney, Landfill, Household Hazardous Waste, and Recycle Center are all closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015.
County Offices are also closed on Friday, November 27 while the Courts, District Attorney, Landfill, Household Hazardous Waste, and Recycle Center are open.
Critical services at Larimer County will not be disrupted by this closure.

Grab your cowboy hat and hang on tight cause you’re about to be in for a wild ride. The 2014 Larimer County Fair presented by Colorado Lottery is coming to town and bringing some incredible entertainment along with it. This year’s fair will feature brand new attractions as well as crowd favorites from the past that are sure to thrill all ages. The Dog and Pony Variety Show, Kid’s Fishing Tank presented by Jax Outdoor Gear, Pony Express Rides & Petting Zoo, and the brand new Comedy Wild West Show: Shenaniguns will have you shouting “yeehaw!”
In Shenaniguns Comedy Wild West Show, the Wild West Goes Whack-o when Sheriff Hoppalong Casually and Deputy Leon Jones strap on Big Iron and face off against dimwit desperado Bad Bob and his bumbling baby brother Bubba Bob. This quartet of cut-up cowboys fires off a laugh-a-minute load of funny one-liners, silly sight gags, and crack-up cornball comedy. The sheriff, deputy, and Bob Brothers will be duking it out several times a day on August 1-3, so be sure to check your fair schedule and get ready for some fast-paced, family-friendly, Wild West Entertainment!
Returning for a second year, The Dog & Pony Variety Show is a fun family variety show filled with equine and canine acts with western flair! Experience fast and furious chuckwagon races, the famous slides and spins of freestyle reining performances, and dog acts that will make you say bow-wow! The performance is scheduled for Saturday, Aug 2 at 7 p.m. at the Ranch-Way Feeds Indoor Arena. Tickets are $5 for kids (2-12), $10 for 13 & older, and $25 for Family Four Packs and are available at ComcastTIX.com or the Budweiser Events Center Box Office.
The 2014 Larimer County Fair runs from August 1 - 5 at The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland. Events at this year’s fair include Gnarly Barley Brew Festival presented by Shock Top: August 2, the PRCA Rodeo presented by Pedersen Toyota: August 3 - 5, fireworks presented by Agfinity: August 1 – 2, Carnival Americana: August 1-5, 4H Junior Livestock Sale: August 6,and much more. The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex, located in Loveland, CO, opened in 2003 and is owned and operated by Larimer County. The Ranch consists of the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose arena managed by Global Spectrum, the Ranch-Way Feeds Indoor Arena and Livestock Pavilions, the First National Bank Exhibition Halls, and the Thomas M.
