 Larimer County Natural Resources Department is pleased to announce awards for the Open Lands Program’s Small Grants for Community Partnering awards for 2013!  They will be formally presented on March 28, 2013, at the Open Lands Advisory Board’s meeting (5:45 p.m., Loveland City Council Chambers, Loveland Municipal Building, 500 East Third, Loveland).   Twelve community projects throughout Larimer County were awarded a total of $19,890.48.

Small Grants for Community Partnering is an initiative of the Larimer County Open Lands Program with the intent of dispersing a portion of the Help Preserve Open Spaces sales tax dollars throughout the county for community projects which connect people to the land. Since 1998, 134 community projects have received approximately $171,000 in funding.  Annually, $20,000 is available for individual awards up to $2,000 per project.
