New Hours for Fingerprints & Registrations

Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith announced new office hours this week for taking fingerprints and registering sex offenders. The Sheriff's Office will now provide these services from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
The new hours apply to those who need fingerprints for employment or other purposes, court-ordered fingerprints and photographs and for sex offender registrations as well as for concealed handgun permit applications.
The office will continue to perform vehicle identification number checks from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
The office is staffed with deputies from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The change in hours was implemented to make the hours for all services consistent and accommodate staff reductions. Additional information on all services is available at www.larimersheriff.org
Fees for these services are:
Fingerprints $ 20
Court-Ordered Fingerprints & Photograph $ 20
VIN Verification $ 10
CHP Applications $100 + ($52.50 to Colorado Bureau of Investigation)
CHP Renewals $ 50 + ($13 to Colorado Bureau of Investigation )
CHP Renewal Late Fee $ 15
CHP Emergency Permits $ 25 + ($30.50 to Colorado Bureau of Investigation )
Sex Offender New Registration $ 75
Sex Offender Re-Registration $ 25
