Department: Natural Resources
Release Date: Mar 18, 2013

Contact Information:

Travis Rollins, Open Spaces District Manager, (970) 498-5622, trollins@larimer.org

Due to the proximity of the Galena Fire, Horsetooth Mountain Open Space and Soderberg Open Space are temporarily closed. Once the fire is contained, Larimer County Department of Natural Resources' staff will assess the open space area and will open it up to the public when it is safe to do so.

The Blue Sky Trailhead is open with recreational travel allowed only to the South toward the Blue Sky Trail.

As conditions change, notice will go out via media release, Facebook, and Twitter.
