The Larimer County Engineering Department will hold a project informational Open House on Thursday, March 7 from 4-6p.m. at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, 200 West Oak St., Fort Collins in the 1st floor Carter Lake Conference Room regarding Bridge Rehab projects for County Roads 52E and 63E over the Cache la Poudre River. The meeting will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to view plans and other project information, ask questions and make comments. There will not be a formal presentation so feel free to stop by any time between 4 and 6.
 
The work involves deck repairs and epoxy overlays on the bridges. The CR 52E (Rist Canyon Road, Project No. 8066) project is located just west of the town of LaPorte approximately 4 miles northwest of Fort Collins. During the work, County Road 52E will be closed to through traffic with access open to Watson Lake, the Tamasag Center and the Pleasant Valley Trail. Traffic will be detoured south to Road 50E (Bingham Hill Road) during construction. Construction is scheduled from approximately late April through June 7, 2013.
 
The CR 63E (Pingree Park Road, Project No. 8075) project is located just south of State Highway 14, in Poudre Canyon, approximately 26 miles west of Highway 287. CR 63E will be closed to vehicles wider than 6 feet (nothing larger than cars and pickup trucks) during the daytime only for work on one half of the bridge deck at a time.  Dual wheel pickups and wide trailers will not be allowed. Vehicles wider than 6 feet will be detoured to CR 27 (Stove Prairie Road) and CR 44H (Buckhorn Road) over Pennock Pass during the day. Construction is scheduled from April 15 through April 30, 2013.
