Hoffmann made permanent Larimer County Manager; Panhandling Ordinance passes

At their weekly Administrative Matters meeting this morning, the Board of Larimer County Commissioners took several actions:
- They moved Linda Cleland Hoffmann to permanent County Manager status, effective December 1, 2012. Hoffmann began serving as County Manager on May 31, 2012 for a 6-month period. Hoffmann is the former Planning and Building Services Division Director. Hoffmann thanked the Commissioners and other elected officials and County staff for their support and praised the climate of cooperation she has found.

- They reappointed Lonnie Berett as the Larimer County Veterans Service Officer for a three-year term. Berett has been serving since 2009 in this volunteer position that provides oversight to the Larimer County Veterans Service Office.
- The approved a resolution adopting the Estes Park Local Marketing District 2013 Operating Plan. By law, the Operating Plan has to be approved of by both the Town of Estes Park and Larimer County and both have now done so.
- They held a second reading and public hearing and adopted an ordinance relating to Panhandling in unincorporated Larimer County.
