Just a reminder to boaters at Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir, planned boating access hours for December, 2012:
Planned Boating Access Hours for December, 2012:
Horsetooth Reservoir:
South Bay ramp: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays, weather and ice dependent
Carter Lake:
North ramp: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays, weather and ice dependent
The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources, in order to comply with State of Colorado Aquatic Nuisance Species Regulations, is required to inspect every vessel entering Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir. No boat launching is permitted outside of these hours; however, boats already on the reservoirs may continue operation. ANS inspections will be done at open boat ramps.
