Red Mountain Open Space Seasonal Closure Begins December 1, 2012

 Effective Saturday, December 1, 2011, seasonal closure of Larimer County’s Red Mountain Open Space, north of Fort Collins, begins. Because of winter weather conditions and the protection of wintering range for big game, as set forth in the Management Plan for Red Mountain Open Space, the area will remain closed to the public throughout the winter months, re-opening to the public on March 1, 2012.
