There was a motor vehicle accident that was reported to Colorado State Patrol on October 16, 2012 at 3:46 pm, with one fatality on I-25 @ MM271, south of Mountain Vista Drive, Fort Collins.

The decedent has been identified as Tyler Jordan Turan, Age 21 of Arvada, Colorado.

The decedent was the unbelted driver, who was ejected in the rollover motor vehicle crash.

An autopsy was performed today.  The Manner of Death is determined to be Accident.  The Cause of Death is due to Blunt Force Neck Injuries with Exsanguination and Mechanical Asphxia.

No other information will be released by our office.
