Larimer County, Colorado – On Monday, October 22, 2012, Larimer County will close County Road 5, from County Road 32E to County Road 36, to begin construction of Project No. 307 – Replacement of Bridge No. 5-1.0-32E-A. Work on this project will replace the narrow bridge over the Fossil Creek Reservoir Outlet Ditch with a wider bridge that will include 6’ paved shoulders. A subsequent project planned for next spring will consist of widening CR 5 north of CR 32E to CR 36 to provide for 6’ wide paved shoulders. Turn lanes will also be constructed at the CR 36 and CR 5 intersection.
 
Construction of this project is expected to be complete, and the road reopened to traffic, in late December, 2012.
