The Larimer County Workforce Center is presenting a series of workshops for self employed people.
 
The first in the series is “How to Be Your Own Boss,” and is free of charge. 
October 16, 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Learn what it takes to be self employed. Are you ready to take the plunge?
 
This workshop will be followed by three additional workshops in this series:
 
October 22, 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Independent Contractor Start Up:  Start off on the right foot by understanding the legal and financial considerations for being a 1099 worker and setting your business up for success! Fee: $59.
 
October 31, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Pricing, Costing, and Planning: Learn how to price your services, determine your costs, and create a financial plan as a road map for a successful business start up.  
Fee: $49.
 
November 6, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Create the Right Marketing Mix: Marketing yourself as a
solo-preneur requires different strategies, resources, and approaches than a bigger business. 
Fee: $59.
 
These workshops are intended to be a series, however, each can be attended as a stand-alone workshop. All workshops will be held at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices, 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins.
