Boomers & Beyond/Seminar for Job Seekers Over 50

A seminar for job seekers over 50 years old, “Boomers & Beyond: How to Be Irresistible to Employers!” Friday, September, 28, 8 AM-5 PM, at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices, 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins. Snacks (coffee & pastries) will be provided, as well as a 45 minute lunch break (bring your own lunch).
 
The seminar includes four great speakers who will present the following topics: "Economic Outlook for Northern Colorado," Betsey Hale, Economic Development Director - City of Loveland; "Bene­fits of Being a Boomer: Tips for Triumph,” Alan Sherwood, President - Sherwood Consulting Service, Inc.; "Career Development for Boomers," Rich Feller, Professor - Colorado State University; "Beyond the Talk: Taking Action to Move Forward," Carrie Pinsky, PHR Human Resources & Recruitment Specialist. There will also be a panel discussion with HR professionals from the Northern Colorado Human Resource Association (NCHRA). Staff will be on hand to review resumes or share interviewing techniques.
