Two phases of a Larimer County construction project will close portions of Devil’s Gulch Road (CR43).   
 
  • On Tuesday, September 4, 2012, Larimer County will close Devil’s Gulch Road (County Road 43), approximately 1.8 miles northeast of County Road 61(between Glen Haven and the switchbacks), to begin construction of Project No. 297 – Replacement of Culverts 43-S3.03-61 and 43-1.78-61. Construction on this phase of the work is expected to be complete, and the road reopened to traffic, Saturday, September 8, 2012. The work consists of replacement of a 48” diameter steel culvert with a 60” concrete culvert.
 
  • On Monday, September 10, 2012, Larimer County will close a section of Devil’s Gulch Road (CR 43) located approximately 1 mile north of Highway 34, to begin Phase 2 of the project - replacement of a 72” steel culvert with a 7’x6’ concrete box culvert. Construction is expected to be complete, and the road reopened to traffic in mid-November, 2012. Traffic will be detoured to County Road 61, County Road 63E and Highway 34.
