Larimer County Landfill Will Be Closed for Independence Day

Larimer County, Colorado— The Larimer County Landfill, including the Business Office, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW),  the recycling area, and the Garbage Garage Education Center  will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. Landfill operations will resume on Thursday, July 5, with regular hours of  8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.   The HHW will reopen on Tuesday with regular hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Education Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Berthoud Transfer Station will also be closed on Wednesday, July 4.

The Landfill is located at 5887 S. Taft Hill Road in Fort Collins. For more information about the landfill and related services, call the Larimer County Solid Waste Department’s 24-hour information line at 498-5770 or visit www.larimer.org/solidwaste.
