Scott Doyle, Larimer County Clerk & Recorder (970) 498-7852 sdoyle@lalrimer.org
Larimer County, Colorado - Scott Doyle today announced that he has named a new Chief Deputy Clerk & Recorder. Bob “Diggs” Brown is joining the Clerk & Recorder team, effective today (June 25th).
“Given the ever increasing complexities of this office, I believe it is time to add a Chief Deputy to our Management Team,” said Doyle. “My departmental managers have done an outstanding job of fulfilling the needs of the office over the years, making it unnecessary to fill the Chief Deputy role. However, our work becomes ever more complex, and these key positions need to be freed up to focus more fully on operations in their respective departments.”
A resident of Fort Collins since 1998, Diggs Brown served for six years as the Regional Investment Manager for what is now Bank of the West. He is a Green Beret and a combat veteran who served in Afghanistan (among other places), later writing a book about the experience.
Diggs holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a Masters in Business Administration, and he is a former member of the Fort Collins City Council. He has been owner and manager of Diggs Brown & Associates, a Financial Advisory Firm in Fort Collins since 2005.
“I am extremely pleased to add Diggs to our team,” said Scott. “He clearly cares about his community and the people in it, and he will provide a fresh perspective as we continue to adapt and fine-tune our operations here in the Clerk’s office.”
