Tandi Renae McBlair, DOB: 100881, of Fort Collins, was arrested late Wednesday night (041812) for 1st Degree Arson.

McBlair is alleged to have started a fire which destroyed a home at 4715 Trails End in Fort Collins on the night of December 27, 2011. McBlair was house sitting for the owners of the home who were out of town. It is not clear why the fire was started or whether drugs or alcohol were involved.

Investigators from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office and Poudre Fire Authority determined that there were three separate points of origin in the home and that an accelerant was used in some of the areas.

McBlair is currently being held in the Larimer County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

The charge(s) are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
