LCSO Resumes Dispatching for Berthoud Police Department

 The Larimer County Sheriff's Office Emergency Communications Center has re-established its relationship with the Town of Berthoud and will once again be dispatching Berthoud Police Department officers after hours and on weekends. The Berthoud police officers will utilize the same radio channels and computer dispatch system as Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies. This will assure better and more seamless service to the residents of Berthoud and will insure better communications so that the deputies and town officers can respond to assist each other as need dictates.

The Berthoud Police Department will continue to dispatch their officers Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 
In addition to dispatching Sheriff's deputies and Emergency Services personnel and wild land fire crews, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office Emergency Communications Center also dispatches for the following groups:
 
Larimer County Search and Rescue Team
Larimer County Dive Rescue Team
Larimer County Parks
Colorado State Parks (Larimer County)
Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire
Glacier View Volunteer Fire & EMS (Emergency Medical Services)
Livermore Volunteer Fire & EMS
Red Feather Volunteer Fire & EMS
Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire & EMS
Poudre Canyon Volunteer Fire & EMS
Timnath Police Department
