The Northern Colorado Birding Fair is now 2 free days of fun and learning for the whole family held at Fossil Creek Regional Open Space where visitors can celebrate the sights and sounds of birding in the region. Bring the whole family and participate in hands on birding activities, watch a presentation about birds, or build up your birding skills with an in-depth clinic. This year's fair is focused on birding for the whole community, and will include presentations and activities in English and Spanish. Friday, September 28, 7 am - 1 pm - Birding Behind the Scenes at Soapstone Prairie

City of Fort Collins Biologist Aran Meyer and Educator Sue Kenney will take you to some areas closed to the public for some birding and share information about the internationally renowned Lindenmeier early man site. Friday, September 28, 7 am - 9:30 am "Birding Tour of Three Bells Conservation Easement"

Join volunteer naturalist Carl for a special tour of the 3-Bells Conservation easement, a private property just north of River Bluffs Open Space. This beautiful conserved area, normally closed to the public, boasts a lovely section of the Poudre River, home to many different bird species. Free registration required.
