Landfill Business Office are closed July 3 & 4 Critical services at Larimer County will not be disrupted by this closure.
Parts of the Larimer County Virtual Courthouse website may be unavailable during maintenance on Tuesday, June 30 from 5 - 7 p.m.
Effective July 1, 2006, secure and verifiable identification is required on all new titles, duplicate titles, new registrations, new temporary registration permits, and new placards. The identification must be provided by the owner of record or a power of attorney presented by the agent. The agent must have secure and verifiable identification to complete the transaction. Commercially owned or lien holder transactions require a letter of authorization.
Disability plates and/or placards are issued to a vehicle or individual when someone is disabled with qualifying criteria as listed below:
Disability plates or placards enable the driver to park in the specially marked parking zones. Placards must be removed from the rear view mirror or window when the vehicle is motion.
A DR2219 Persons with Disabilities Parking Privileges Application must be completely filled out in front of a medical professional. Incomplete applications will be rejected. The completed form is required to obtain the placards or plates.
Three types of registration are available:
Once approved you may be issued the following combinations: (1) set of plates, (2) a set of plates and a placard or (3) 2 placards.
