Frank Lancaster is the County Manager for Larimer County. As County Manager, he serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the County, working with the Board of County Commissioners to coordinate activities of all County departments, with direct responsibility for all departments except for other elected official departments (Treasurer, Sheriff, Clerk and Recorder, Assessor, Coroner, Surveyor and District Attorney.) Frank became County Manager in August, 1994. He formerly held the positions of (served as) Larimer County Forester and Director of Natural Resources for Larimer County. Frank has been with Larimer County since 1981. Prior to Larimer County he was the City Forester for Cheyenne, Wyoming.
He is the author of the book, Administration of Public Solid Waste Management Systems. He is a Colorado native and holds a Bachelors degree in Landscape Horticulture and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
