2555 Midpoint and 200 W. Oak, Fort Collins

We had hoped to relocate Finance, Human Resources, and Facilities to 200 W. Oak to create space for Elections to consolidate at 2555 Midpoint, However it has been determined that this move will be too costly and take too long to implement.

Instead:

  • The Facilities management staff (excluding the Facilities shop staff) will relocate to the 4th floor at 200 W. Oak with ITD. Facilities will vacate Suite D at 2555 Midpoint making that space available to Elections to use as a workroom. The Elections' staff offices will remain at 200 W. Oak. Human Resources and Finance will remain at the Midpoint campus.

205 E. 6th, Loveland

After researching the possibility of closing the 205 E. 6th Street building and relocating Loveland services to leased space, it was determined not to be a viable option at this time. There will be further discussions with the Commissioners over the next few months to develop a long term plan in order to solve the problems currently being faced at this location. Minor renovations have been funded to replace the boiler in September and keep the air conditioners functioning.

  • The Health Dept. will continue to provide services at 205 E. 6th Street in Loveland.
  • Human Services will continue to meet clients at the 205 E. 6th St. location. The Facilities and Human Services directors will continue to pursue a possible expansion of space for the Human Services staff at the Midpoint campus.
  • The Clerk-Motor Vehicle office will remain at 205 E. 6th Street in Loveland and will not be relocated to a shared space with the State Department of Motor Vehicle. Although the idea of a co-location was very attractive to the County, it is not financially feasible at this time.
