Government accountability is important to citizens. Larimer County has added 'Transparency' pages to our web site so that it is easier for citizens to find more information about the business conducted by and with Larimer County. This site is intended to provide links to information on the Virtual Courthouse web site. We also believe transparency includes letting you know all the ways you can let public officials know what you think when you "look through" government workings, so we've added that information as well. 'See' for yourself.
Larimer County Law Enforcement is proposing a public safety radio facility to be built on the summit of Middle Bald Mountain to make radio communications available to emergency services. A website has been set up for information on this proposal. The site contains the results of a just completed test on communications coverage as well as pages for common questions, history, maps, discussion of issues, and other input and information. A subscription service is available to be notified automatically of updates.
The Proposed 2010 Larimer County budget is now available for review. It was prepared in compliance with state statute, generally accepted budgeting principles, funding agency requirements, and the budget priorities and directions of the Board of County Commissioners.
