Coordinate system
Larimer County GIS and Mapping Services Department Data Sets and Map Products are produced from spatial information, referenced to the Colorado State Plane Zone, NAD83/92 (HARN), units-feet.
Accuracy
Expected Accuracy: Plus/minus 20' horizontal positional accuracy. Coverage accuracy will continue to improve as quarter-section, section, and planimetric data are obtained.
Source of GIS Data
The Elevation Map data set was created from 10-meter &30-meter Digital Elevation models as Provided by the United States Geologic Survey. This data is supplied in cooperation with several Larimer County departments, local, state, and federal sources.
