GIS Digital Data Products
Larimer County currently recieves dozens of requests for information in various digital formats each day. This information often includes information which is being updated and maintained by numerous County departments and Elected Official offices, in a variety of formats (GIS, Database, Computer-aided drafting, text files, images, ...). In order to provide the most complete, accurate, equitiable, and resource-effective distribution of these datasets, Larimer County has decided to create a countywide policy to best handle these requests. Over the next several months, this 'Public Access Policy' will encompass a methodology to ensure that Larimer County has the proper technical, staff, hardware/software, and support documentation resources to effectively make this version of county records available to the public, agencies, and private enterprise.
