Mission Statement
The Larimer County Office on Aging will assist older adults, age 60 and over, in maintaining health, dignity, independence, and quality of life, by advocating, planning, coordinating, and delivering services and programs, with emphasis on meeting the needs of those who are socially and/or economically disadvantaged.

photo of two seniors The Larimer County Office on Aging, in the Larimer County Department of Human Services, is a comprehensive planning unit that advocates for the concerns of older adults and caregivers.

The Office on Aging also administers Older Americans Act grant funds by providing services to Larimer County residents who are 60 years of age and older.

Older Americans Act funds are distributed by the Office on Aging for services in Larimer County, including:

  • information and referral
  • transportation
  • in-home health care
  • family caregiver support
  • health promotion
  • long term care ombudsman services
  • legal assistance
  • dental assistance
  • congregate & home-delivered meals
  • medication management
