Adolescent Services is for youth aged 10 to 18:
It is a place that youth can go to get help with school or home problems.
The Hub is also a place where police bring youth when they get in trouble to help them work through their problems.
Thompson and Poudre School Districts are participants in The Hub. Truancy is often a component to delinquent and other acting out behaviors. The schools' involvement at The Hub will be an integral part of the treatment process in working with youth and family to address truancy and other at-risk behaviors, as well as facilitating the re-entry of youth to an education program.
Staff are available on-site to complete drug and alcohol evaluations on open cases, as well as provide outpatient drug and alcohol treatment to both adults and juveniles. These individuals work in conjunction with caseworkers, Hub staff and the WING. Groups and appointments vary.
Mediation is an on-site component of The Hub providing crisis intervention to families experiencing children beyond control, parent/child conflict or runaway issues. The Hub provides free mediation/counseling services to families. Mediators will be available on site from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday – Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Law enforcement personnel or parents can make referrals through the main Hub number (970) 498-6990. All mediation cases will be processed at The Hub.
The Youth Services team provides various functions, both to youth involved in delinquent court and families involved with the Department through voluntary or Dependency and Neglect cases.
Chafee Foster Care Independence Program (CFCIP) provides independent living skills and other transitional services to youth preparing to live independently after foster care.
