Food / Medical / Financial Assistance

Aid to the Needy Disabled (AND)
Provides cash payment to raise an eligible person's income from other sources.

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
Offers financial assistance to subsidize child care costs through contracted providers, for families who meet low income guidelines.

Child Support
Locates absent parents, establishes legal paternity for children born outside marriage, establishes/enforces child support orders and monitors collection and disbursement of child support payments.

Colorado Works/TANF
Cash and employment assistance for qualifying low income families.

Food Stamps (FS)
Supplemental food assistance for low income families.

Low Income Energy Assistance (LEAP)
Provides financial assistance to help low income households with winter home heating costs. Services may include:

  • Paying a portion of home heating costs.
  • Furnace repair or replacement.
  • Replacing broken windows.

Options for Long Term Care (OLTC)
Provides assessment and on-going case management to older and disabled low-income individuals who are in need of long-term care services in their own homes or in alternative care facilities.

Family Medical Services/Medicaid
Health care benefits for minor children, parents of minor children, pregnant women, low income adults over age 65 and disabled persons of any age.

Medicare Supplement
Programs to supplement your Medicare insurance, for age 60 and older.

Old Age Pension (OAP)
Provides assistance and health care benefits for low-income adults aged 60 or older.

Diversion
This program provides a one time work related financial need, limited to adult family member with dependent children.

TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
Cash and employment assistance for qualifying low income families.

Eligibility for any of the above programs is determined by Federally set income limits.
