A formal application process was set up to select participants for the Horse Business Facility Regulations Study Working Group. The Board of County Commissioners have made the appointments. The Working Group will consist of individuals representing the following interest groups:
- Current Business Owners/Operators
- Representatives from Organizations/Associations/Facility Users
- Neighboring Properties Representatives
- Equine Professional Service Providers
Meetings of the volunteer Working Group will be held monthly and scheduled in the evenings. They will begin in late March and continue through the summer and fall. The Working Group will need to adhere to the work program in order to complete its charge and offer any recommendations by the end of the year to the Board of Larimer County Commissioners.

The study process has been extended to accommodate input from County staff, the Planning Commission and the public. Additional Working Group meetings and work sessions with the Planning Commission will be scheduled.
The next meeting will be held: Monday, Novemer 30, 2009, 6:00 p.m., Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, Lake Estes Conference Room, 3rd Floor, 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins, Colorado.
