To protect Larimer County residents travelling abroad from communicable diseases.

 >   Program Information  

Service provided:

  • Provides immunizations, both required and recommended, to Larimer County residents travelling out of the country, based on geographic risk and type of travel, including vaccines for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Yellow Fever, Typhoid Fever, and Meningococcal Meningitis.
  • Offers information on avoiding food- and water-borne illnesses.
  • Advises travelers of disease outbreaks or special problems occurring in parts of the world where travel is planned.
  • Provides information to private physician offices requesting assistance on appropriate shots and medications, especially malaria medications.
