EXTENSION OF POUDRE RIVER TRAIL IN DESIGN

Project Number 5013

Last Updated: November 13, 2009, 2009

SCOPE OF WORK

The project consists of constructing a concrete trail from State Highway 392 to County Road 32E through the Cache la Poudre River corridor. This project will extend the Poudre River trail from the just completed Highway 392 underpass approximately ½ mile north. A trailhead to be constructed east of the river off CR 32E will require a pedestrian bridge over the river south of the CR 32E bridge (archeological findings precluded an alternate trailhead off CR 3).

Project Budget: $700,000

PROJECT STATUS

The survey of the site is complete. Preliminary design work has begun. Construction is tentatively scheduled for late summer 2010.
