The station is located about 14 miles (22.5 km) north and 1 mile (1.6 km) east of Wellington.
From the intersection of Interstate Highway 25 and Larimer County Road 92. Go west on County Road 92, 0.7 mile (1.1 km) to old highway (running NE-SW). Go northeast on old highway 0.55 mile (0.89 km) to locked gate (City of Fort Collins allows access, contact Wastewater Dept.) Go through gate and continue on old highway 1.2 miles (1.9 km) to a ranch road leading to the west (ranch road turn off is about 200 feet (61.0 m) south of wood bridge on old highway). Go west on ranch road 0.55 mile (0.89 km). Go northwest on ranch road 0.1 mile (0.2 km). Go west on ranch road 0.1 mile (0.2 km) to railroad crossing (tracks NE-SW). Cross tracks and go northwest 1.4 miles (2.3 km) and cross old railroad grade (no. tracks). Continue to go northwest on ranch road 1.35 miles (2.17 km) to crest of hill which drops down into large valley (running N-SE). Mark is on the north side of road 9 feet (2.7 m) from CL. An electric fence is 3 feet (0.9 m) northeast of mark paralleling road. A witness sign is 4 feet (1.2 m) north of mark.
