The station is located about 12 miles (19.3 km) north of Wellington.
From the intersection of Larimer County Road 7 and Larimer County Road 82, go west on County Road 82, 0.5 mile (0.8 km) to Larimer County Road 7E (unimproved road). Go north on County Road 7E on half section line, 0.8 mile (1.3 km) (left fork along fence is alternate seasonal access). Leave half section line and go northwesterly across dam for small pond on east side road 0.15 miles (0.24 km) to intersection with the alternate seasonal access. Go northeast 0.05 mile back to half section line. Go north on half section line 0.7 mile (1.1 km). Leave half section line and go northwest 0.3 mile (0.5 km) to railroad tracks into rawhide plant. Go north across tracks 0.05 mile (0.08 km). Go west 0.15 mile to mark. Mark is 57 feet (17.4 m) south of south right of way fence. Mark is 136 feet (41.5 m) north of the CL of north set of railroad tracks into rawhide plant. (Note - county road right of way ends, even though access road to private lands continues north) (General Note - the entire route is double fenced at a width of 60 feet (18.3 m) except for area near pond to accommodate alternate seasonal access, which may be used in case of poor ground conditions). A witness sign is 4 feet (1.2 m) north of mark.
