Visiting an Actual Vote Center
Similar to traditional polling places, Vote Center layouts are designed with the voting public in mind. Some Vote Centers are designed to serve the needs of heavily populated urban regions. Other Vote Centers must meet the needs of small rural towns. In the 2004 General Election, Larimer County set up 31 Vote Centers throughout the county. Take a look at two very different Vote Centers used in Larimer County for the 2004 General Election. The following two Vote Centers will give you an idea of the adaptability of the Vote Center Model to different regions.
- Faith Evangelical Free Church (large urban Vote Center)
- Livermore Elementary School (small rural Vote Center)
