Register to Vote in Larimer County

Who may register to vote?

  • Are you a United States citizen?
  • Will you be at least 18 years old by Election Day (November 3, 2009)?
  • Do you live in Larimer County, Colorado?

If you answered "yes" to all three questions, then you may register to vote!

Where can I register to vote in person?

You may register to vote in person Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the following locations. Estes Park Motor Vehicle closes at 4:30 p.m.

What are the current political parties in Colorado?

Current political parties are available on the State of Colorado website. Voters may also register as "unaffiliated" if they do not want to join a political party.

I am in the military or overseas. How can I register and cast my ballot?

Go to www.fvap.gov to learn more about military and overseas voting. You may also call our office at (970) 498-7820 to speak to our military and overseas voting specialist.

Can I make my voter registration information (name, address, etc.) confidential?

Your name, address, party affiliation and year of birth are public record. Your signature, drivers license number, social security number and month and day of birth are confidential.

If you or a member of your household are at risk of criminal harassment or bodily harm, you may make your record confidential. The fee is $5.00 payable in check or cash.
