What these data tell us:

In 2007, Specific Learning Disability comprised the largest number of the Special Education student population. There were 1,474 students with Specific Learning Disability across Larimer County School Districts, or 32% of the Special Education student population. Speech/Language Disability comprised 24% of this student population among Larimer County School Districts.

Specific Learning Disability was the most predominant disability in the Special Education student population in Park School District (64.7%) and Poudre School District (35.9%), and second at Thompson School District (27.4%). Speech/Language Disability was the most frequent disability in Thompson School District (32.3%) and ranked second in Poudre School District (17.0%) and Park School District (8.4%). Physical Disability was the third most common disability in Park, Poudre, and Thompson School Districts.
