What these data tell us:
From 1997 to 2003, the rate of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charges filed in County Court remained fairly stable in general. However, in the last few years the number of DUI's have fluctuated widely. DUI's increased 20% in 2004, then decreased 24% in 2005, and 9% in 2006. With the exception of 2006, the rate of Traffic charges has increased steadily since 2001. The rate of total combined charges filed in County Court followed that trend as well.Data Tables:
